Guest Relations Associate

The Guest Relations Associate is the first point of contact for visiting guests and essentially the host which initiates the customer experience. If you have a passion for making people feel welcomed and appreciated then you would be perfect for this job!

Summary of Duties

The primary duty of the Guest Relations Associate is to ensure that guests are taken care of when they arrive and after they leave. This consists of checking in arriving guests, handling waiver sign-ins and directing them to the lounge as they wait for their Esqape experience to begin. The Guest Relations Associate is also responsible for managing the daily schedule and ensuring booked appointments are on-time and on-track.

Outside of regular hospitality duties, the Guest Relations Associate will also manage new appointment requests and inquiries, as well as, any online or social media correspondence. This person will become the “voice” of Esqapes and a representative of the company to the outside world.

Daily duties include:

  • Reviewing and preparing for daily appointments

  • Greeting guests at the door and checking them in (signing waivers, providing overview of services, etc.)

  • Manage guest check-out and booking of future appointments

  • Manage daily email and social-media communications on behalf of the company

  • Follow up with guests on their experience and overall satisfaction

Required Skills

A Guest Relations Associate must be a kind, approachable and genuinely warm person. You should be able to greet visitors with a smile and make them feel at home from the first encounter. A positive attitude is a must!

Having general proficiency with computers, specifically Windows 10 or Mac OS is a plus. Regular usage and understanding of basic office software like: G-Suite, Word, Powerpoint, Pages, Keynote, etc. is necessary.

Proficiency with popular social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, etc. is also preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills are highly desired and will be necessary for online communications.

The ability to be both teachable and autonomous are greatly desired for this role. Esqapes is an entirely new business concept, so there will be a lot of on-the-job training. You must be able to receive direction with a positive attitude, but also able to make informed and wise decisions when necessary.

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience working at a front desk in a hospitality role is a plus

  • Spa customer service or host experience is also a plus

  • Expert knowledge and regular usage of social media platforms

  • Formal communications training or expertise

  • Office software proficiency

Guest Operations Associate

The Guest Operations Associate’s job is to provide guests with warm, courteous, customer service and insure that customers leave Esqapes in a calm and relaxed state. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy making people feel “less stressed” then this may be the role for you!

Summary of Duties

Essentially, the Guest Operations Associate oversees the overall customer experience from check-in to departure. This associate is the primary point of contact for the visiting guest and assists with the intake process and orientation. They are also responsible for the set-up and initiation of the Esqape experience and insure that the guest has a relaxing and pleasant visit overall.

Daily duties include:

  • Reviewing and preparing for daily appointments

  • Greeting guests after check-in and providing an overview of the Esqapes experience

  • Assist with the preparation and initiation of Esqape experiences

  • Managing post-session departure and guest check-out

  • Keeping session rooms and common areas clean and presentable

  • Looking after guest comfort and overall satisfaction

Required Skills

A Guest Operations Associate must be a patient and genuinely warm person. Having the ability to let things roll off your shoulders and serve others, is a BIG plus. We want people that can help our guests feel welcome and relaxed from their first interaction.

Having general proficiency with computers, specifically Windows 10 PC’s is a plus. Although this role does require the set up and use of virtual reality hardware, previous VR experience is not required. Basic use, understanding and experience with Windows 10 is required though.

Technical Manager

The Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring that all systems are operational and running smoothly. This person is highly skilled in Computer Operations and/or IT support and has some experience with Virtual Reality development.
